Clarence is straight out of a forgotten legend: a Tiki amp channeling the spirit of ancient temples and jungle ceremonies. Born from the imagination of a kid raised on Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and Legends of the Hidden Temple, Clarence brings that sense of mystery and magic into the real world.
Carved from a rare piece of Black Cherry, rescued from a neighbor’s firewood pile, the log’s odd shape and natural features (forehead knots, branch stubs, pockmarked textures) practically whispered their own story. The face is inspired by Olmec-style carvings, surrounded by torch-like tubes that glow like ceremonial firelight in a dim corridor.
The carving was only the beginning. Most of the 375 hours were spent engineering the inner sanctum, fitting intricate circuitry into tight, irregular spaces without disturbing the soul of the wood. Each tube and socket was carefully placed like sacred relics in a hidden shrine.
Clarence is more than an amp: he is a relic reborn, here to protect the vibe.
